Hometown? Right here in good ol Danville, Kentucky
How long have you been a tattoo artist? Since January 2008
How did you get your start? I didn't get my first tattoo until I was the ripe old age of 24, got bitten by the tattoo bug pretty hard, started hanging out and became a regular at the studio. Chad took notice to my love of the art, saw some of my artwork, believed I had what it took, and he offered me an apprenticeship. The rest is history.
What is your favorite style of tattooing? Man, honestly I'm drawn to new school, bright color, cartoony style. And that's what most people come to me for, but I also love doing realistic black and grey.
What do you like to do outside of tattooing? Obviously Artwork. I've recently stepped into the realm of marker art and spend a lot of time in that medium. I also love to fish. I don't get to do it near as much as I would like, but anytime I get the chance to wet a line, I'm down! I play guitar (not very good) but i enjoy playing. I currently play at Junction City United Methodist Church in the praise band. I know, not stereotypical of a tattooer ;)
What kind of music do you like? You hear people say all the time "everything" and it sounds cliché, but yes almost everything. Country, rock, Christian Rock, bluegrass, and especially blues. Heck I even get down with some Selena Gomez from time to time lol. Just not into hard metal or hardcore rap.
Favorite movie? Hands down 2 favorites are RAD and Top Gun. I had the honor of tattooing Cru Jones from RAD on my good friend and fellow Tattooer Johnny Thurman at a convention this past year, when I posted the picture on social media I got a like and Comment from Bill Allen, the actor who played Cru in the movie! That was pretty epic!!
Most frequently asked question? Do you do your own tattoos? And.... are the pictures of the pretty little girl in my booth of my daughter? No, they're Actually of my "sidekick" my best friend, my niece Brantlei :)
Favorite quote? "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." Benjamin Franklin
