How long have you been a tattoo artist? I’ve been a full-time tattoo artist since mid-July 2019.
How did you get your start? I wanted to be a tattoo artist since I was in the sixth grade. My uncle at the time, was working at Studio Ink, so I kinda grew up stalking all the guys here and trying to draw like them. When I was 21 I started an apprenticeship at a shop in Lancaster. I did a few little things here and there, but was still working another full-time job to support myself financially. When that shop closed, somewhat unexpectedly, I went on a little hiatus. I wasn’t exactly satisfied with where I was as an artist yet, so I took a couple of years off to build up a portfolio I was happy with; that I would later go on to show Chad. Afterward, he took me in as an apprentice and showed me everything that goes into making GOOD tattoos. Now here I am.
What is your favorite style of tattooing? I like doing anything funny and/or dark-themed. But style-wise, New School is definitely my favorite. I love something with a nice, bold outline.
What do you like to do outside of tattooing? When I’m not tattooing I spend a lot of time sitting around doodling. I love writing, and maybe the occasional musical endeavor.
What kind of music do you like? It really just depends on my mood. A lot of metal & rap though.
Favorite Movie? Anything funny or scary is fine by me. The last Annabelle movie was pretty badass.
Most frequently asked question? “How old are you?”
Favorite Quote? “I thought this was America!” -Randy Marsh, South Park
