Deposit / Booking Information

Due to the increase in no-shows we have had recently, we are unfortunately forced to start requiring non-refundable deposits to schedule tattoo and piercing appointments. You can book and pay your fee online with the link below.

  • To book tattoo appointments, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required.

  • To book piercing appointments, a $20 non-refundable deposit is required.

The deposit will go towards the final cost of the tattoo or piercing, and will be available for one reschedule. After that another deposit will be required to reschedule. For rescheduling, please call at least 48 hours before your appointment to roll your deposit over to a future appointment date.

Deposits are forfeited and a new deposit will be required to schedule another appointment IF you 'no show' your appointment, cancel after the 48-hour mark, not book the proper time amount, and/or not bring the proper identification.

Please make sure you speak with or message your artist beforehand so they can provide you with an estimate of how much time your appointment will take. You can also call us at 859-936-2009 to speak with an artist and figure out how long to book for.

If you have any questions, please call us at 859-936-2009.

What Do I Need To Get Tattooed?

In the state of Kentucky, it is required by law to have a state-issued ID or passport in order to get tattooed. This ID needs to include a photo, full name, and address. License, permit, passport, KY kids ID, etc. is an acceptable form of ID. School IDs, birth certificates, and social security cards are NOT a valid form of identification. This also includes minors.

We tattoo anyone of 16 years of age and up. Along with a photo ID, minors will need to be accompanied with their parent/legal guardian. Both minor and parent will need an ID in order to get tattooed. We have a notary on sight so there is no need to get any forms notarized.

Tattoo Aftercare

Aftercare starts as soon as your tattoo is completed. After the completion of your tattoo, you can expect your artist to clean the tattooed area and wrap in a bandage or plastic wrap. Wrapping prevents bacteria from getting into your skin. It also protects the tattoo from rubbing on your clothes and getting irritated.

  • ALWAYS wash your hands before cleaning your new tattoo.

  • After a couple of hours, you can remove the wrapping.

  • After removing the wrapping, clean the tattoo with cool water and antibacterial, unscented hand soap.

  • After cleaning with cool, soapy water- pat dry with a cloth or paper towel.

  • Apply a dime-sized amount of antibacterial ointment (A&D, Aquafor, etc.) to your new tattoo. Gently rub it in. Repeat this step 2-3 times a day everyday. After 3-4 days, switch from A&D ointment to a non-scented hand lotion.

  • During healing period, keep your tattoo moisturized but not over-moisturized. Over-moisturizing can lead to your tattoo healing out improperly. Use non-scented hand lotion to moisturize 2-3 times a day, not any more or less.

  • Do not swim, soak in a hot tub, or take a bath for two weeks after getting your tattoo. Also, avoid tanning.

  • Stay out of direct sunlight for the first 2-3 weeks. Even healed tattoos can fade in the sun, so always use a high SPF sun-screen over your tattoos when you’re out in the sun or tanning.

  • Do not scratch your tattoo or pick off any scabs; It will itch during the healing process. This process can last up to two weeks. Picking scabs/itching may remove the ink in that area and lead to patches fading or being removed altogether. If it itches, don't scratch – slap it lightly instead or rub lotion on it.

  • A tattoo causes trauma to your body. Depending on the placement, the size, and an individual’s hygiene, and daily activities, healing is different for everyone. Because a tattoo is an open wound they are susceptible to infections, it is best to follow the aftercare instructions listed above to lower your risk of problems during the healing process.

  • You should expect your new tattoo to be red, irritated, swollen, and possibly bruised. These are normal reactions to the tattoo area. Usually, you can anticipate 1 to 3 days for red or irritated skin to subside. If swelling or bruising occurs, this could last for up to a week, especially if tattooed in a sensitive area such as the feet.

  • If signs of infection occur, consult with your physician.

    * We offer free touch-ups within the first 6 months after getting your tattoo. If you need a touch-up, please reach out to your artist to schedule an appointment.*
