Deposit / Booking Information

Due to the increase in no-shows we have had recently, we are unfortunately forced to start requiring non-refundable deposits to schedule tattoo and piercing appointments. You can book and pay your fee online with the link above.

  • To book tattoo appointments, a $100 non-refundable deposit is required.

  • To book piercing appointments, a $20 non-refundable deposit is required.

The deposit will go towards the final cost of the tattoo or piercing, and will be available for one reschedule. After that another deposit will be required to reschedule. For rescheduling, please call at least 48 hours before your appointment to roll your deposit over to a future appointment date.

Deposits are forfeited and a new deposit will be required to schedule another appointment IF you 'no show' your appointment, cancel after the 48-hour mark, not book the proper time amount, and/or not bring the proper identification.

Please make sure you speak with or message your artist beforehand so they can provide you with an estimate of how much time your appointment will take. You can also call us at 859-936-2009 to speak with an artist and figure out how long to book for.

If you have any questions, please call us at 859-936-2009.

By Kentucky state law, we are not able to pierce anyone under the age of 16 excluding earlobes and the outside region of the ear. However, we are able to perform ear lobe piercings on anyone 10 years of age and up.

For anyone over the age of 16 but under 18 years old, we are able to perform most piercings including any area of the ear, nostril, septum, navel, eyebrow, lip, and bridge with parental consent.

*UPDATE AS OF 04/26/21- WE ARE NOW ALLOWED TO PIERCE UNDERNEATH THE MASK- INCLUDING NOSTRIL & ORAL PIERCINGS.*

What Do I Need To Get Pierced?

In the state of Kentucky, it is required by law to have a state-issued ID or passport in order to get pierced. This ID needs to include a photo, full name, and address. License, permit, passport, KY kids ID, etc. is an acceptable form of ID. School IDs, birth certificates, and social security cards are NOT a valid form of identification. This also includes minors.

Along with a photo ID, minors will need to be accompanied with their parent/legal guardian. Both minor and parents will need an ID in order to get pierced.

Legal guardians need to bring guardianship paperwork- along with their state-issued ID.

We have a notary on sight so there is no need to get any forms notarized.

AFTERCARE

General Body Piercing Aftercare:

  • Use a Sterile Saline wash, sea salt spray, or a mild antibacterial/antimicrobial unscented alcohol-free hand soap. Clean the area (front and back) 2-3 times a day every day.

  • Sterile Saline/Sea Salt soaks are great for healing. Soak at any time for a couple of minutes each day as you wish.

  • NEVER twist, touch, or rotate your jewelry or take out jewelry during the healing period. If you like your piercing, keep jewelry in it. A piercing can close at any point- no matter how long you’ve had it.

  • Always wash your hands thoroughly before cleaning. You never want to put dirty hands on a fresh wound.

  • Initially, you may experience redness, swelling, tenderness and/or bruising. This is completely normal- do not be alarmed.

  • NEVER use any products containing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, bactine, or citric acid. This will dry out your fresh piercing, and kill the healthy tissues working to heal your piercing.

  • Crusties are a good sign your body is healing your fresh piercing right. But with that being said, still clean off any crusties and any dried blood. (Cleaning will soften crusties making it easier to come off)

  • Each piercing has varying healing times but most can be anywhere from 2-9 months. Please reach out for approximate healing time on certain piercings.

  • Avoid any trauma as it can irritate/take longer to heal. This includes but not limited to- friction from clothing, excessive motion, playing with jewelry, overcleaning, and sleeping directly on it.

  • Avoid submerging your piercing in bodies of water for long periods of time such as lakes, hottubs, pools, baths, etc.

  • Avoid beauty products/personal care products on or near your piercing.

NOT FOLLOWING proper aftercare instructions can lead to infection, irritation bumps, scarring, and/or rejection.

Oral Piercing Aftercare:

  • Rinse with antiseptic alcohol-free mouthwash or sea salt solution.

  • Rinse mouth with chosen solution for 30-60 seconds after meals and at bedtime (2-3 times daily) during the entire healing period. Cleaning too often or with too strong solution can cause discoloration and irritation of your mouth and piercing. Do NOT swallow the solution.

  • For the first 3-5 days or so, expect significant swelling, light bleeding, bruising and/or tenderness. After that, some swelling, light secretion of a whitish-yellow fluid.

  • For swelling, allow small pieces of ice to dissolve in your mouth. Any sucking motion (sucking on ice, drinking out of a straw, etc.) can cause more swelling, longer healing times, irritation, etc.

  • Take ibuprofen often to aid in swelling.

  • Once the swelling has subsided, it is vital to replace the original longer jewelry with a shorter post to avoid intraoral damage. Contact your piercer when it is time to have your jewelry downsized. Longer jewelry is essential to accommodate swelling but if you notice your jewelry becomes too tight, contact us immediately.

  • Avoid alcohol, harsh, spicy, sticky or acidic foods.

  • Don’t smoke or use tobacco products during healing time.

  • Usually oral piercings take anywhere from 1-4 months to heal entirely. Please contact us for a better estimated healing time.

NOT FOLLOWING proper aftercare instructions can lead to infection, irritation bumps, scarring, and/or rejection.

If you have any questions/concerns, PLEASE contact us directly. We are here to help and want your piercing/healing process to be as easy as possible.
